THE FOLLOWING ARE pictures from the interior of Christ Church. To see a larger image, click on the thumb-nail image.

The painted mural over the chancel arch - a design attributed to John Roddam Spencer Stanhope.

The Sanctuary. The distinctive red and white wall covering dates back to the 1950s whilst the High Altar was moved from St John's Church in 1963

The altar

A panel of the East Window - a line drawing currently covers the Stained Glass Window

The font - originally from St Mary's Convent, Wantage

The lectern

The pulpit - installed in 1907 with the painted panels added shortly afterwards. It is likely that the panels were produced by Gertrude Spencer Stanhope.
