IN THE 1980’s, the west end of Christ Church was remodelled and part of this work was the creation of an upstairs meeting room, the Parish Room. The room is in use during the day but is available for hire in the evenings on weekdays. It is furnished to a good style with carpet, conference tables and padded chairs. Typical usage is for committee meetings where the number of attendees does not exceed 20.

THE CRYPT AT CHRIST CHURCH was refurbished in 2008 and is available for hire for parties and informal group activities. Regular hirers include AA and CA. It is also the base for Cafe E14, a project providing a meeting place for youngsters as well as giving work experience to young people wishing to enter the catering industry.

PART OF THE REFURBISHMENT included the installation of a kitchen area to a high specification for the Cafe E14 project. This is available for hire for those who wish to cook food on the premises when the room is hired for parties.
