Little Panda Cantonese School 

A group which is teaching nursery age children their cultural heritage through music and language lessons.

Sundays: 3.00- 4.3.00pm. Term time only.

Isle Of Dogs: As Bill Sees It:

The group meets on Mondays in the Christ Church Crypt. Meeting Guide: Open (O) AA Meetings are open to ALL who may or may not have an alcoholic problem.

Mondays: 8.15- 9.30pm. (The group meets all year round including all major holidays(365/6 days of the year)

Docklands Power –

The group meets on Fridays in the Christ Church Crypt (Christ Church Manchester Road Isle of Dogs London E14 3BN). Meeting Notes: NS( No Smoking), O(Open), P(Parking available) Nearest tube is the Island Gardens

Fridays: 8:00 – 9:30pm. (The group meets all year round including all major holidays(365/6 days of the year).

room and the Crypt.

Island Gardens Food Bank/ Parish Pantry

An ecumenical community outreach program for the less fortunate run by volunteers coming from St Edmund’s Roman Catholic Church and Christ Church Isle of Dogs. Together we support those in need of food and sundries through the food pantry.ceive donations from all over the community and are subsidized by local grocers including Asda.

We also offer spiritual support for those who need it.

Bible Study groups

Existing Home groups/ bible study groups meet Monday 11am and week nights as advertised on the church weekly Notice Sheet.   

EPIC Bible Study Group

7-11 year old bible study group which incorporates fun with spiritual and biblical growth. It meets in the Parish Room.
New members are welcome.

Thursdays: 4.30- 6.00pm. Term time only.

Christ Church Adult Choir

Our in house Choir which sings most Sunday parish masses,

and on second Sunday of the month during evensong.

They also sing during festivals and special events.

New singers are always welcome.

Bell Ringers:

Our tower houses 8 Bells, Tenor 10-3-27 in F#

Sunday Ringing: They ring some Sundays between 10.15 and 11.00am for the morning service.

Practices: They hold a joint practice with other ringers on. They are actively recruiting new bell ringers

from the church and the local community. If you are interested then please contact Roger Booth

at the above address or speak to someone in the church. Practices at Christchurch are usually Wednesdays 6.30pm.

Toy Library

Our in house play group for 0-5yr olds is open to all.

It’s a chance for parents and children to socialise and play together.

Toys can be borrowed or played with on site.

Mondays and Wednesdays at 9.30-1130am.

Scouts helps children and young adults reach their full potential.

Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative,

planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment.
There is currently a link with the local scouts who come to help clean

the church weekly, and help out during the Summer Fete in July.

London Docklands Singers:

London Docklands Singers is a friendly, medium-sized community choir based in the Isle of Dogs in East London.

Founded and led by respected musical director Andrew Campling,they perform a largely classical repertoire several times a year at venues 

in and around London’s East End and Central London.their members represent a wide variety of ages,

backgrounds and musical abilities and are drawn from in and around London and the South East.

There is one thing they all share – a love of singing.

Philip Singh runs the user-led art group to support people during difficult times in their lives.

The therapeutic group is aimed at people affected by mental illness.
Workshops are held every Wednesday in the Parish Room in the main church.

Island Gardens Bangladeshi Cultural Association meet to pray in the crypt on Friday afternoons
